Vantic for Rust Console Edition

How to Set Up Your Rust Console Server Store

Setting up a store on a Rust Console server is a short, one-time job, and this guide covers it end to end: connecting payment, adding what you sell, sharing the link, and understanding delivery and fees. Everything runs on your own Stripe account, so real money settles straight to you rather than sitting with a platform, and the fee is a flat 3% on top of Stripe's own processing. Products can be roles, kits, item bundles, currency or pay-to-spawn, and once live they deliver themselves the instant a payment clears, with no claim step and no staff on duty. The page also explains how buyers receive purchases automatically, how payouts and refunds work, and why keeping checkout on your Stripe leaves you in control of the money.

Connect Stripe once, add your products, and every purchase delivers itself - roles, tokens and in-game items land in the buyer's account automatically.

Step 1: connect your Stripe account

Your store runs on your own Stripe, so real money settles straight into your account and Vantic's fee is a flat 3%, taken on top of Stripe's own processing fee. Open the Money store on your Vantic dashboard, press Connect Stripe, and complete Stripe's onboarding: your bank details and an ID check. That verification is what lets Stripe pay you.

The moment onboarding is done your store can take payments. You never handle a webhook or any server-side payment setup: that all lives on the platform already.

Step 2: add your products

In the Money store, add what you want to sell: single items, full kits, pay-to-spawn vehicles or prefabs, VIP and other Discord roles, and token packs that top up a player's in-game currency. Give each a price and an image, and it goes live on your store page.

Facepunch's rules mean you cannot sell DLC content, but VIP, starter kits, cosmetics, token packs, teleports and raid-protection access are all safe and popular sellers. Vantic automatically screens item listings against a maintained list of known DLC content and blocks the common ones before they go live, catching most mistakes that could risk a delist - though you should still steer clear of DLC in kits and pay-to-spawn products, which it does not scan. A network can run one store that prices VIP per server or unlocks it across every server.

Step 3: share your store link

Your store has a clean public link. Pin it in your Discord, put it in your server description, and list your server on the Rust Console server directory so players find both your server and your store between wipes.

There is nothing to install for buyers: they open the link, sign in with Discord, and buy.

How players get their purchase automatically, with no staff

This is the part owners ask about most: after a player pays, nobody has to hand them anything. The instant the payment clears, Vantic delivers it to the buyer's own account. A Discord role is added to them immediately. Tokens or currency are credited to their wallet immediately. In-game items, kits and pay-to-spawn are delivered the moment they are next on your server.

The one thing a buyer does first is link their Discord to their gamertag with /link, which the store prompts for before checkout. That link is how Vantic knows exactly whose account to deliver to, so a purchase never sits waiting for an admin. If someone buys tokens before linking, the tokens are held and credited automatically the moment they link.

Getting paid, fees and refunds

Payouts are Stripe's job: once you are onboarded, Stripe pays your bank automatically on your own schedule (new accounts have a short initial hold, then it is rolling). Vantic takes a flat 3% and Stripe takes its own processing fee; the rest is yours, and you can turn on Stripe Instant Payouts from your own Stripe dashboard if you want the money faster.

You are the seller of record, so refunds and disputes are between you and your buyer on your Stripe. Vantic's SpendGuard has your back: if a payment is refunded or charged back, it automatically removes the role or claws back the tokens, so a refunded buyer never keeps the goods.

Frequently asked questions

How do players receive a role or tokens after buying from my store?

Automatically. The instant the payment clears, Vantic adds the Discord role or credits the tokens to the buyer's own account. In-game items and kits are delivered the next time the buyer is on your server. No admin has to add anything by hand.

Do I have to add purchases to players manually?

No. Every purchase delivers itself - roles, tokens, kits, items and pay-to-spawn all land automatically. Your staff never touch a paid order.

Do buyers need to link their account first?

Yes. Buyers sign in with Discord and link their gamertag with /link before checkout, so delivery goes to the right account. Tokens bought before linking are held and credited the moment they link.

How do I get paid, and what is the fee?

Sales go straight into your own Stripe account. Vantic's fee is a flat 3%, on top of Stripe's own processing fee. Stripe pays out to your bank on your schedule, and you can enable Instant Payouts in your Stripe dashboard if you want it faster.

What happens on a refund or chargeback?

SpendGuard handles it automatically: the role is removed or the tokens are clawed back, so a refunded buyer does not keep what they bought.
