About Vantic, the Rust Console Edition bot

Vantic is a Discord bot and web dashboard for running Rust Console Edition servers on PlayStation and Xbox. What is Vantic?

Vantic is a Discord bot and web dashboard that administers Rust Console Edition servers. It connects to a server you already rent, over WebRCON, and gives the owner one place to run the things a console server cannot do on its own: a live killfeed, player linking, kits, an in-game economy and shop, offline raid protection, a live map and player radar, tickets, role sync, scheduled wipes, and a real money store. Players use slash commands in Discord. Owners use either Discord or the web dashboard, whichever is open at the time.

Rust Console Edition has no server-side mods, so nothing can be installed onto the server itself. Everything Vantic does is built from the console command set and the live log stream that a server broadcasts while it runs. That is the whole craft of a console bot: features that exist on PC as server add-ons have to be rebuilt, carefully, from the outside.

Who is Vantic for?

Vantic is for people who run Rust Console Edition servers on PlayStation or Xbox, from a first 50 slot server to a network of them. One owner running one server gets the same platform as a network with a staff team, because the work is identical in shape and only differs in volume.

It is also built for the players on those servers. Linking, the shop, the battle pass, daily claims, leaderboards and raid alerts are things a player uses directly, and a bot that players avoid is a bot the owner stops paying for. Every player facing surface gets the same care as the admin ones.

Why does Vantic exist?

Vantic exists because a server management bot that quietly loses its connection is worse than no bot at all. When the link to a game server drops, the easy thing to do is keep showing the last numbers that came back, and an owner looking at a dashboard has no way to tell the difference between live and half an hour old. Decisions get made on numbers that stopped being true before lunch.

So the first thing built was the Truth Layer, and everything else was built on top of it. If Vantic is not certain a reading is current, it says NO SIGNAL rather than showing you a stale one, every live number carries the time it was taken, and an independent watchtower checks the platform around the clock and tells the owner the moment their server drops. A public status page for each server makes that checkable by anyone, including the players.

What does Vantic actually do?

Everything below runs from Discord, the web dashboard, or both. Every feature starts switched off, so Vantic never fights a tool you already run.

Honest live status

Connection state, player count and server stats with the time each reading was taken. No signal is reported as no signal. Each server gets a public status page, and an independent watchtower alerts the owner the moment the link drops.

Killfeed, stats and leaderboards

A rolling killfeed with PvP separated from traps, animals and the environment, so K/D means something. Kill rewards, streaks, XP that levels players into Discord roles, and public leaderboards.

Offline raid protection

Bases seal when the whole team logs off and open again when anyone comes back. Players set their own zone in game with a quick chat emote, so the owner is not fielding requests.

Economy, shop and casino

A custom currency you can rename, a token shop selling items, kits, teleports, pay to spawn vehicles and roles, plus daily claims, a battle pass, challenges, lotto and casino games.

A real money store on your own Stripe

Sell kits, items, pay to spawn and VIP for real money. The money lands in the owner's own Stripe account and Vantic takes a flat 3%. Purchases deliver themselves, with no claim command and no ticket.

Live map and player radar

Your wipe's map rendered from the seed, with player positions at honest freshness and raid protection zones drawn on top. Map Studio finds or builds the next wipe's map and hands you the boot commands.

Kits, teleports and automation

Build a kit once in the visual kit builder and hand it out through the shop, the battle pass or an in game emote. Reusable console command groups run on demand or on a schedule.

Moderation and staff tools

Private tickets with claim, invite and transcripts. Owner, Admin, Mod and VIP kept in step between Discord and the game. A prison that teleports a rule breaker back when they die, and network wide ban sharing.

Bringing your shop with you

Moving from another bot does not mean rebuilding a shop by hand. Vantic reads the shop you already have, category by category, checks every item against the real Rust Console item list, and shows you exactly what it found before anything is saved.

How does Vantic connect to a Rust Console server?

Over WebRCON, which is the connection every Rust Console host exposes. On a host that gives you the details directly, such as G-Portal, you copy three things out of your host panel: the server IP or host, the RCON port, and the RCON password. On Nitrado you approve Vantic on Nitrado's own page and pick your server from a list, so there is nothing to copy at all.

Because it is WebRCON and not a host integration, Vantic is not locked to one hosting company. A Connect Doctor tests the connection while you set it up and names the exact problem if something is wrong, rather than leaving you to guess which of the three fields is off.

What does Vantic cost?

Vantic is free forever on every server, and Premium is A$20 a month per server with no contract and no card needed to start. The free plan includes honest live status and the public status page, the Connect Doctor, player linking, a basic killfeed and a directory listing. Premium unlocks the rest: the real money store, live radar and maps, offline raid protection, the retention engine, the casino and economy, raid alerts and wipe tools.

The store is priced separately and simply. Real money sales carry a flat 3% platform fee with no monthly plan attached to it, taken on top of Stripe's own processing fee, and the rest settles straight into the owner's own Stripe account rather than being held by us and paid out later. If you run several servers, each one holds its own subscription, so cancelling one leaves the others running.

How does Vantic handle your data?

You sign in with Discord and nothing else, so there is no Vantic password to create, reuse or leak. Access inside a community is bound to the roles that community already trusts, and an owner can see who on their staff did what. Data is handled in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.

Leaving is self service. If you ever stop using Vantic you can remove it and wipe your community's data from the dashboard yourself, without opening a ticket or waiting on a reply. A product that makes you ask permission to leave is telling you something about how it expects to keep you.

Who runs Vantic and where is it based?

Vantic is an independent product built and run in Australia, by an owner who runs Rust Console servers. That shapes the practical things: support is answered in Australian hours, which also covers New Zealand and most of Asia-Pacific, pricing is shown in Australian dollars, and data is handled under Australian privacy law. It is not an Australia-only bot; it connects to servers on any host in any region, and owners in the US and Europe get the same bot. The terms of service are an agreement between you and Vantic, and the legal and privacy pages publish a support address you can actually email rather than hiding the only way to reach us behind a contact form. Support runs through the Vantic Discord, where owners ask questions in the open, and through vanticrce@gmail.com. There is more on what that means, hours, currency and privacy, on the Australian support page at vanticrce.com/where-to-buy-rust-console-bot-software-with-australian-support.

There is no bigger claim to make here than that, and we would rather say so plainly than dress it up. What we will stand behind is the work: the platform is built for people who are trusting it with their server, their community and, once the store is on, their income.

Is Vantic affiliated with Facepunch Studios?

No. Vantic is an independent third party tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Facepunch Studios. Rust and Rust Console Edition are trademarks of Facepunch Studios.

That independence comes with rules we follow rather than work around. Facepunch does not allow paid content to include game DLC items, so the store screens what you list for DLC content automatically and blocks it, which keeps an owner from accidentally selling something that puts their server at risk.
