Vantic for Rust Console Edition

Vantic changelog

This is every customer-facing change to the Vantic Rust Console bot and dashboard, dated and in plain words, newest first. Vantic ships several times a week, and each change is announced in the Vantic Discord's changelog channel and listed here, so whether the bot is still being updated is something you can check rather than take on trust. Internal work is left out on purpose; what is here is what you can see or use. Last change: 5 October 2026.

17 entries. The newest is at the top.

Warnings: each type has its own limit and its own consequence

Dashboard

Warnings now count by type, and you choose what each type leads to. Three warnings for ZORP abuse block that player from using ZORP; they do not ban them from the server, and a warning for something else does not count toward it. On the Warnings tab, each type can be set to block from ZORP, send to prison, ban from the server, or only be logged, after the number of warnings you pick. The server ban for a total number of warnings of any type is still there, and stays off unless you set it.

Warnings: types, a ban at your limit, and one channel for all of them

Dashboard

Every warning now posts to your warnings channel, whether you logged it with /warn or on the Warnings tab. The post shows which warning it is, what it was for and who gave it, and it names the player's Discord account when their gamertag is linked; you choose whether that pings them. A warning can carry a type from your own list, such as ORP abuse or bullying. You can also set a number of warnings at which a player is banned in game, for a set number of days or until you lift it, and lift a ban from the Warnings tab or with /warn unban. Banning is off until you set a number.

Retrace a raid: record everyone on your raid days

Dashboard

If your raids run on set days, you can now pick those days under Retrace on the radar page. On them, Vantic keeps where every online player goes, so after a raid you click the base on the map and see who was near it and when, then walk along any player's path. It is off until you pick a day, each point is deleted after 48 hours, a server can only hold so much before the oldest points are dropped, and nothing extra is kept on your other days. Retrace windows now reach 48 hours too.

Warn a player, and retrace a repeat offender

Dashboard

You can now log a warning against a player from Discord with /warn or from the new Warnings tab, with the reason and who gave it. You set how many warnings it takes before Vantic starts keeping where that player goes; from then on, the radar page has a Retrace view that draws their path on your map, lets you walk along it in time, and shows who was near any spot you click. Nobody is tracked before they reach your limit. A retrace covers up to ten players at once, runs seven days, holds three days of trail, and posts a daily file of each player's movements to a channel you choose, so the longer record stays with you.

See exactly what Premium unlocks

Dashboard

A server on the free plan now has a tab that lists, row by row, what it already has and what Premium adds, and the same table is on the pricing section of the site. Every locked feature links to it, so the answer to what you would actually get is one click away instead of a guess.

Outage alerts now say what broke and whether you need to act

Discord

When your server drops, the alert in your Discord names the cause in plain words: the host moved your server to a new IP, your rental lapsed, the server is stopped at the host, a platform-wide outage, a silent link, or a routine restart you can ignore. It says whether you have to do anything and links straight to the Connection panel when you do. Reminders back off instead of repeating every half hour, and the same alert appears as a banner at the top of your dashboard until the server is back.

Remove a protection zone from the dashboard

Dashboard

Offline Protection now lists every base under protection, with a search by gamertag, Sealed and Open filters, and a confirmed Delete. The bot removes the zone in game within a minute and tells the player. It works even when Offline Protection is switched off, so old zones can always be cleared.

Purge kit and drop interval are on the dashboard

Dashboard

The purge kit and how often it drops used to be set only from Discord. Both now sit under the purge toggle in Settings, with your Kit Library's names offered as suggestions and the kit name checked against it before it saves.

Dashboard search finds every tab by what it does

Dashboard

Searching purge, backup, ledger, fallout, lotto, friend teleport or any other feature now lands on the right tab, including words like ip, port, rcon and password for the connection settings. Every tab has search words in the language owners actually type.

Write a review from the feedback widget

Dashboard

Alongside bug reports and suggestions, the feedback widget on your Overview now takes a review of your experience with Vantic, good or bad. A checkbox lets you say whether Vantic may quote it on the site with your server's name; unticked, it stays private.

The Grow plan checks that you ran an event this week

Dashboard

A new weekly task, run at least one event, ticks itself only when a Juggernaut, cache drop, special event, scheduled event, lotto draw or giveaway actually ran in the last seven days. Being active in your Discord joins the daily habits next to posting and streaming.

Nightly verified backups and an outside uptime probe

Platform

The database is backed up every night and each backup is verified before it counts. A public uptime probe lets a monitor outside Vantic's own hosting confirm that the site, the database and the bot are all alive, so an outage anywhere in the stack is caught from the outside.

Players keep their balances when you switch to Vantic

Dashboard

Moving from another bot no longer wipes your players' wallets. Vantic reads balances from what your old bot prints into Discord, shows you every player and amount for review, applies an exchange rate you set, and credits each player once. Players who were missed can claim theirs, and claims settle automatically with you able to approve or decline.

Safe mode: watch Vantic on your live server before it sends anything

Dashboard

Turn on safe mode and Vantic connects to your live server, reads everything, and sends nothing that changes the game. You see exactly what it would have done, then switch it off when you are ready. Built for owners trying Vantic alongside another bot.

Players can see what they own on your store page

Store

A signed-in player sees a Your purchases section on your store, and an item they already hold shows You have this with its renewal date instead of a Buy button. No more guessing whether a subscription is active.

Add another server from billing, with the price shown first

Dashboard

Billing owners can add a second server from the billing tab, and the add-server screen says up front that each server is billed on its own at A$20 a month per server, so adding one never changes what you already pay.
