Vantic for Rust Console Edition

Rust Console Killfeed Bot for Discord

Every kill, one clean rolling card - with K/D that farming can never inflate.

How the Vantic killfeed works

Rust Console Edition has no plugins, so a killfeed has to be built from the server's console stream. Vantic reads every death line the moment it prints, classifies it (player kill, NPC, animal, trap, environment), and posts it into one rolling Discord card that edits itself as kills arrive - never a message per kill flooding your channel.

Each entry carries a live timestamp, so a kill from an hour ago reads 'an hour ago' on its own. You choose exactly which death types post: PvP only, or everything down to bear maulings, with six one-click category toggles.

K/D that players actually trust

Vantic tracks kills and deaths per player with one deliberate rule: K/D is PvP-only. Killing scientists or animals lands in a separate PvE column, so nobody inflates a ratio by farming NPCs, and deaths to a bear never drag a fighter's PvP record down.

Streaks track live and reset on death, best streaks are remembered forever, and the leaderboards run straight off the same numbers - see them live on the public network ladder.

Kill rewards, XP and bounties on top

On Premium, every kill can pay: an owner-set amount of your server's currency per PvP kill (with an anti-farm cooldown so trading kills with a friend earns nothing), XP that levels players into Discord roles, and revenge bounties that put a price on offline-raiders' heads - announced right in the killfeed.

PvE servers flip one switch and the same engine rewards NPC hunting instead, so the feed fits your ruleset either way.

Frequently asked questions

Does the killfeed need a plugin on my Rust Console server?

No. Console servers cannot run plugins. Vantic reads the server's console output over the same connection your host provides, so there is nothing to install on the server itself.

Can I choose which deaths show?

Yes. Six category toggles (PvP, suicides, animals, NPCs, traps, environment) control what posts. Stats always track regardless, so turning a category off never loses data.

Is the killfeed free?

Yes, the killfeed is part of the free plan. Kill rewards, XP, streak bonuses and bounties are Premium.

How fresh is the feed?

Kills post within seconds of the console line printing, batched briefly so Discord rate limits never delay your channel.
